An important part of our relationship to Richard is that we're in love. I guess sometimes it just hits us and we both have to sit back and realize "wow, I'm really in love..." and I'm his first love. It's so pure and fresh and wonderful every single day.

It's nice to know that someone thinks of me as 'a catch' and it's nice to know that for the first time in my life, I'm in love with someone and they're in love with me, too.

I want him to come home soon. Eight weeks is a really long time.

I haven't been writing much in either of my journals lately because I have been spending all day at work in front of a computer and by the time I get home the LAST thing I want to do is plunk myself down in front of another one!

There isn't much of "new" in my life... I'm working this summer for Hydro One and getting paid as a Temp employee instead of a student so it's mucho more money. It's not a very exciting job - I'm in customer services and what I do is deal with customer complains like the other 8-or-so people that I work with. I log the complaint into their computer file and then pass it on... Some of the colourful language used by the annoyed customers is really quite entertaining. Misspellings of curse words always amuse me. They're four letters usually; how hard is it?

I've been glad to be home but I have been wanting to spend MORE time with my gals... I have seen Al and Tarah a couple of times and they're always awesome to hang out with. We've been having some good laughs which I hope is serving as somewhat therapeutic for Tarah (poor gal). Stupid men.

(The exception:) Richard is wonderful! We're almost at 7 months now and things couldn't be better... However, the new distance between us now that we're not both in Ottawa has been serving as a little bit of a hurdle because it's such a change. I'm used to almost every day of PHYSICAL contact with him - now I get weekends and once during the week (if I'm lucky).

I'm really looking forward to being at Lauren's cottage this weekend. It's the long weekend and so it's going to be great - partying and chilling with buds! Plus I'm looking forward to just hanging out with Lauren... I feel like she and I have been drifting apart so I still want her to know that I love her tons! I hope that everyone has a great time this weekend!

Anyway, time to grocery shop.

Funny that my 23rd post was on the 23rd day of January (my first month of this crazy livejournal business).

I just got home almost an hour ago... It was the most spur-of-the-moment trip because I got an email from my prof informing me that my deferred exam likely won't be held until Thursday at the earliest, and since I SURE AS HELL don't want to spend my 21st birthday alone in the 'Twa, I got on the next train home to my family. Not only is it MY birthday on Tuesday, it's also my mom's birthday the same day and my uncle's birthday the day before. It's just a party-week here during the first week of May. OH, and the 1st of May also happened to be my six-monther with Richard. Aw. And I didn't even get to see him OR talk to him because life works in strange ways, but I did get to talk AND see him the day before and we said our "Happy Six Month" and our "Ila Views" (I'm ripping that off from HODGSON!) so I was happy.

I'm just happy to be home, you know? I'm glad I have a place to call "home" when things aren't working out for me elsewhere...

Turns out that being in Ottawa by yourself for two days when you're waiting on an impending exam is BO-RING. At least now I am going to be in Toronto - the land of local calls to my friends, and where there are more channels on my parents' TV - so that should hopefully alleviate SOME boredom. :)

I am grooving today. I have Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Erykah Badu on shuffle in my head and it's putting me in a great mood.
I'm in Toronto and enjoying the thirty-or-so new channels my parents seem to have adopted with their new wide-screen TV. This morning I saw a woman have a C-section birth on some "Birth Story" tv show on the Life Network. It was cool, and the woman was gorgeous. I think pregnancy suited her, although she likely wasn't a dog in non-pregnant stages either.
I have written two exams, and I have three more to go on the 27th, 29th and 30th. I seem to have the most brutal exam schedule in my circle of friends - Lauren is done TODAY and going home permanently. Lucky. However, although Richard is done this coming Saturday, he's sticking around in Ottawa until next Friday so we can spend some time together before our respective summers start.
Speaking of summer, it looks as though I'll be back in the TDot for the summah. As of yet, I have no job - so this way I just don't have to pay any bills and I can live for free with my parents and their home-cooking. HOORAY FOR HOME-COOKING.
Plans for summer: lose my fat ass and get 'thin' again!

For those looking for an update from my weekend, I believe that a lot of it will be posted separately in a locked entry...

However, to appease my public (hah) I can say that the weekend was like magic. It was as though every bud that had been in my life before the weekend is as of now bloomed into a flower... Maturing every day and even every moment. It's never going to be the same as it used to but it's better than it was. It's lovlier to look at, smell, touch... I'm excited to see the petals open before my each day - and that's the happiness I get to wake up with now and get to experience each day.

"Elated" would be a good word to apply here.

Most of my weekend will never be posted onto the WORLD WIDE WEB for it's far too personal for me to share with strangers, let alone the sneaky people who refuse to actually ASK me about my life, but will tune-in to read my small episodical tales.

I find it interesting that so many people in my life who began to know me last year got to know this cynical, bitter, depressed young girl... I think I may have changed more in the past year than I may have done all of my teenage life combined. I find this to be strange and wonderful all at the same time - I also find myself being perplexingly poetic-sounding due to my recent reading of Anne of Green Gables as she's constantly in a dreaming state, and I seem to also be emerged in that state as of late.

Anyway, school is driving me bananas and I don't know how I'll ever get the amount of work required to be completed in the next three weeks. Next-to-impossible, but I'm damn sure gonna try.
